She helps professionals, entrepreneurs, consultants and freelancers achieve their career or business goals through personal branding on LinkedIn. She is also a mother of 5 kids ranging from ages 5 to 21 years of age. Virginia was an assistant professor of communication for 11+ years. In 2008, she started doing freelance writing while she was still teaching full time. Two years later, in 2010, she left the academia and started to work from home as a full-time freelance writer and editor. Sneha Gandhi White is the owner of Educational Coach by Sneha grew up in her Cupertino neighborhood surrounded by the beauty of diversity. Because she was shy, Sneha found it difficult to make friends. Her mother and father, however, encouraged her to break through her shyness by learning how to read and introduced her to the Nancy Drew and Harry Potter Series, which grabbed hold of her attention so strongly that she lost focus of her schoolwork. At the same time, however, she gained a lifelong love for reading and literacy. This helped her to discover early on that she had a passion for helping others and serving her community. Mae Flores is an International speaker, writer and advocate for victims of sexual abuse. She is a Goodwill Ambassador for various organizations like "Today I'm Brave". And in 2016, EuropeAid honored her as one of the Top 200 Women in the World Development Wall of Fame. Mae has spoken in various local and global events like United Nations Women in New York and was a feature TED speaker in 2017. Mae fervently advocates for women’s rights and gender equality. Because she is a two-time survivor of gender based violence, she uses her personal experiences to advocate and develop various programming in order to help educate and heal others. Currently, she is the passionate founder of "Light Me Up" a program which uses the power of movement, voice and music to show survivors how to use tools that they already have within themselves to find their own paths to healing. This program is one she has developed over the past few years during discussions with organizations she has met with during her invitations to the UN and UN Women. She hopes through her work, she can provide hope and strengthen men, women and youth to believe that healing begins within themselves, and that everyday we all have the choice to make it. She has always been into both art and science growing up, so she did a dual degree in Film Production and Biomedical Engineering. She likes to keep busy and be doing a lot of things, but one of her biggest hobbies and biggest sources of her confidence is beatboxing. Nimisha has always been into music and picked up beatboxing towards the end of high school. She joined an a cappella team in college which allowed her to practice and grow as a beatboxer, and by the time she graduated she had won 4 awards for “best beatboxer” at various a cappella competitions. She is the author of "Hungry For Disruption: How Tech Innovations Will Nourish 10 Billion By 2050" (Amazon #1 New Release), which provides a futuristic vision for embracing the technological and scientific advances in food for the coming decades. Shen is currently the co-founder & co-organizer of the Cornell Future Food Summit, a first-of-its-kind summit and platform aiming to empower and connect food fighters for a better food future. Previously, she was an Associate at global innovation engine Thought For Food (TFF), where she helped build out TFF's partner ecosystem in the US and ASEAN regions. She previously founded Fresco Foods (a social food venture at Cornell) and Fresco Supper Club (a social-impact driven restaurant in Singapore). Through her work, Shen empowers and supports agri-food innovators, tackles pressing food issues, and advocates for tech innovations in a better food future. A lover of all things gastronomy, Shen is a soon-to-be graduate at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. She grew up in Malaysia and previously lived in Singapore.
