Kat McDowell has always loved music. She draws inspiration from artists like Foo Fighters and Jason Mraz, Kat's fun Ocean Pop sound delivered in a blend of Japanese and English is definitely her own. Her career kick started when her first record went to no 1. on the vinyl charts in Japan selling out after two days, and has since released 3 albums and appeared on several TV commercials. She has also performed at festivals like Summersonic and has opened for artists like Switchfoot and Colbie Caillat. Her mission is to connect people through music, which shows through her openness in her youtube videos and highly interactive performances. In 2015 she was a top 5 finalist in the Guitar Center Singer-Songwriter competition out of 14,000 submissions and in 2016 her youtube channel was selected as a winner in Youtube Next Up’s creator program. She is currently working on her new Ten year anniversary album “TEN” which will be out in the Spring of 2018. When Kat’s not singing for a princess in Japan, girls in a safe house in Nicaragua, or at a college in Oregon, she’s in the studio recording, or baking cookies, or surfing at Venice beach. She was diagnosed with Alopecia (hair-loss condition which usually affects the scalp) at the age of four and it has been a huge part of her journey. Abby was chosen to share her journey to over 1.7 billion Facebook users in the historic Facebook Friends Day in February 2016 where got the chance to meet and engage with Mark Zuckerberg. She was also one of Philippines' representatives in the South Asian music festival called Music Matters 2016. The music she creates not only inspires the Philippines but all over the world. Abby shares how she is able embrace her true self, have a bigger purpose in life, create a positive impact in the world despite being diagnosed with Alopecia as a child. Julia Tsai is a film and television producer based out of Los Angeles, California who also happens to be a licensed attorney. She has seven years of employment and business law litigation experience behind her and used to be in and out of court on a regular basis. Though being a litigator was tough, Julia enjoyed telling stories to judges and juries. However, the stories weren’t her own, and most of the time, the stories were terrible. Julia quit her job as a litigator, hired a life and business coach, and got to work figuring out where she could best utilize her skills. In July 2017, she launched her own media and production company, Nine Tails Media, in order to help balance the gender disparity in the entertainment industry and tell meaningful and diverse stories.
