==Japanese and English scripts==

When you take the train and the bus, you use a card, right?

Some people use an EZ-Link card, and some use a credit card.

Many people also use cards on their phones.

You just tap and can enter right away.

I feel it’s very convenient.

In Japan, there are similar cards.

For example, SUICA or ICOCA.

They are quite well-known.

Which IC card do you have?

If you have one, you can use it in many places.

But in Japan, you need to top up cards like SUICA or ICOCA.

It is different from using a credit card in Singapore.

When the balance gets low, I feel a bit worried.

It’s a bit embarrassing to stop at the gate.

On the other hand, in Singapore, you can just use a credit card.

You don’t need to top it up.

You don’t need to worry about the balance, so it feels easy.

It’s also convenient if you want to collect credit card points.

You don’t need to carry many cards.

Students can also use a student card with an EZ-Link function.

They can take trains and buses with just that, which is very convenient.

In Japan, student cards and IC cards are separate.

Sometimes it feels a bit troublesome.

I hope Japan will also allow credit cards for trains and buses like Singapore.

I wonder when that time will come.
