LONG PAUSE Feel the energy flowing, calmly like a stream. It’s moving through your body, carrying you to your dreams. LONG PAUSE And allow your body to just let go. It’s time to care for you, time to rest, you know. LONG PAUSE Take in another breath and imagine a bronze sun opening in your core– the healing has begun PAUSE And the rays of the sun stretch out to heal, starting at your head, the warmth you can feel. . PAUSE And the warmth is gentle like the sun in May and it opens your cheeks and forehead chasing tension away. PAUSE And your warm sun glow moves to your throat and chin, healing with its rays, healing from within. PAUSE And the sun pauses for a moment and sits upon your shoulders, warming away the tension that has collected there like boulders. PAUSE The sun chips away at the rocks and leaves your shoulders free and moves to your chest where your life pulse will be. PAUSE And the glow gently touches your heart with softness and with peace, and circles the heart slowly, just like a beautiful wreath. PAUSE Then your sunshine nestles in your back between the shoulder blades, opening them and warming them with vibrant, healing rays. PAUSE Your sun settles in nicely to its favorite place–your core where it radiates its healing light before moving on for more. PAUSE Now, imagine the sun cozying up to your lower back. It’s healing and nourishing as it continues on its track. PAUSE Now the sun sits in the abdomen your chakra number two, filling you creatively, so you can always express YOU. PAUSE The sun moves to the top of the thighs to take away the pain. Its rippling rays outstretching helping tension go away. PAUSE The sun then creeps heat into the knees, where stress and pain are fully released. PAUSE And the calves feel the warming salve of the sun, with tension unwinding and knots coming undone PAUSE The more healing warmth the sun gives the legs, the better they’ll support you in the coming days. PAUSE Now, the ankles need care for all the hard work they do. They’re often a forgotten part of all that is you. PAUSE So, the sun takes some extra time to renew the ankles and heels, so they’re ready for what you do without any pain to feel. PAUSE And the last stop for the healing sun are the feet and toes, that embrace the warm healing power before it's time for the sun to go. PAUSE Now, your body is relaxed and healed from the warm sun shining in you, and it returns to your center and melts deeply into you. PAUSE Still, the sun can return– all you need to do is call– and the sun will radiate its healing, to any area, whether big or small PAUSE So, take the night and sleep in peace, your warm sun is nearby, for any healing you need. Hello, beautiful. Welcome. I'm really, really grateful that you're here with me right now. It has been a while since I've come to you with a little hello. So I wanted to come here, give you a big virtual hug and say hi. How's your heart lately? How's your mind? How does your soul feel? Mine has felt a little in chaos the past couple of months. It is the summer months here, which means my kids are home full time. And it has just been a really interesting season of adjusting expectations, adjusting schedules. And as somebody who really, really loves my schedule and regularity and consistency, it has been, um, really good practice let's say really good practice to get me uncomfortable and that discomfort has actually had a lot of beautiful lessons to it and I feel like I've come out of the other side a lot wiser about myself and how I want to move in this world. So If you are going through something that makes you uncomfortable right now, just know that I believe there are lessons here to learn and there are beautiful awarenesses on the other side of it.  As always, I just want to make sure to express my deep, deep gratitude for you being here listening and pressing play on our meditations across our whole network it has been seven years since the beginning of the women's meditation network and i feel like it's flown by so fast my daughter who i was pregnant with when i started this network is now about to be seven later on this year and it just blows my mind I can sort of parallel the lives of the network and everything that this is and her and it's just really beautiful to watch that growth.  So whether you've been with me for seven years, or whether you have been with me for a couple months, whether you're listening for the first time, I am just so deeply grateful that these meditations are here for you, are helping you. I'm so lucky that I get to hear from so many of you quite often about, you know, what these meditations mean to you, how they're helping you. So thank you. Thank you so much for being a part of this whole experience that allows me to be in alignment with my gifts and the love of what I really do and for you to receive that and to benefit from that. So it means the world to me. One favor that I will be bold enough to ask for is for you to share this podcast. Today I wanted to just ask a simple question and then share something with you, some thoughts that I had about that question. Why do you fight the stillness? This question came up in my mind the other day as I was sitting down and meditating and my brain did not want to be there. I just allowed that question to be there because the truth is, is no matter how long I've been meditating, no matter how deeply I have felt the benefits of meditation, I can still come to my practice fighting, not wanting to be still. So, first of all, I just wanted to make sure that you know that all of that's okay. It is okay that your brain wants to fight this stillness. And secondly, I thought it was a beautiful question for each of us to dig a little deeper and see what's in that. Is there a reason you don't want to be still? Is there something you're scared of seeing? Are there emotions you really don't want to feel? These spaces that we avoid have so many things to teach us. And I believe that there's transformation on the other side of going through it. So with that in mind, I just wanted to share a reel that I had made that sort of magnifies this whole experience so I hope you really enjoy it!
