Every day billions of users rely on Search engines to carry out their daily searches. To increase the site visibility and rank at the top of the search engine for the relevant keyword, SEO is used. How exactly does SEO work? There are some techniques you need to follow which will help you in optimizing the content and also drive organic traffic to your site. Mainly, there are three types of SEO. 1. On-Page SEO 2. Off-Page SEO and 3. Technical SEO Let's get to the most important type: On-Page SEO. On-page SEO mainly concentrates on optimizing the content on web pages. Firstly you need to do the research and get to know the most popular keywords searched by the users relating to your blog niche. Use these keywords and write the article accordingly. Make sure the content provided by you is accurate, unique, and provides value to your users. The content consisting of keywords should be well structured with the Title, Header, and meta tags. The use of images, videos, and animations will increase user engagement. You need to optimize the media to enhance the page speed. Use short and simple URLs and make use of Inbound and Outbound Links. Traffic from mobile users is significantly high when compared to other devices. Always check the responsiveness of your website, especially for mobile. The second important SEO type is Off-Page SEO. Some additional consistent steps need to be taken outside your website to increase the website traffic. Having more and more backlinks to your site from external sources implies to the search engines that the content on your site is authentic. Guest blogging, Blog commenting, article submissions, and using Social Media Networks are a few of the methods to increase the backlinks and referral traffic to your site. Next comes technical SEO. Although technical SEO is a part of On-Page SEO it is very important to discuss the technical SEO separately. The search engine bots perform mainly three things. Crawling, Indexing, and Ranking the sites. The use of XML sitemaps, good site architecture, avoiding duplicate content, and, most importantly securing your site will not only makes it easy for the users but also for the search engine bots to crawl, index, and rank your web pages.
