Does Hypertrophy Contribute to Strength - Research Analysis

Josh and I summarise some of the existing literature themed around the continued discussion of whether hypertrophy training causes to some extent an increase in force production (strength), or whether it is just a good looking by-product. Perhaps it is not as simple as it seems.
For those interested, the two main papers referenced are:
'Exercise‑Induced Myofbrillar Hypertrophy is a Contributory Cause
of Gains in Muscle Strength' & 'Exercise‑Induced Changes in Muscle Size do not Contribute
to Exercise‑Induced Changes in Muscle Strength' by Taber et al and by Loenneke et al respectively.
