Though the topic of Westside for Weightlifting has died down over the last year, the implementation of the programming is extremely interesting, and hasn't been given, in our opinion, a fair shout. Understanding their model of periodisation and Westside's focus on velocity and force as training metrics rather than the oversimplified view that it's all about bands and chains is important.
