It's OK to Ditch Your New Year's Resolutions...Actually

Is it OK to ditch the New Year’s Resolutions? Absolutely. Dr. Rachel Goldman, a clinical psychologist based in New York City, suggests reframing New Year’s resolutions to SMART goals. Often we think resolutions will just magically happen if we say it out loud, but we know that doesn’t work. Dr. Rachel offers tips for making attainable goals, with specific details, measurable marks, and a plan. She share how to stay motivated when stress inevitable shows up or when we get tired of doing something. And if you’re resolution was to lose weight, Dr. Rachel has some great ways to adjust the goal to be more meaningful and attainable. The biggest take away: don’t wait for a new year, new week or new day; start now.
