Charlotte is one the rising young talented women in UK luxury wine industry to look out for. More about today’s guest: Charlotte is the UK Wine Business & Brand Development Manager for Moet Hennessy, but started her career in Michelin star restaurants working in both front of house and sommelier positions. Sharing her passion for wine is at the core of her day to day role, and as a certified WSET educator (Wines and Spirits Education Trust), Charlotte hopes to inspire others by teaching in a relaxed and fun way. Although she represents Moet Hennessy’s still wine portfolio, she holds the prestigious Champagne Academy Diploma and currently sits on their committee and in 2022 was named as one of Harpers ‘30 under 30’ within the UK drinks industry. Last year she was lucky enough to receive an education based scholarship from Women of The Vine & Spirits which she is looking forward to using on an Italian wine based course soon. Born in the USA, she’s lived in Europe since 1990. Italian wine, in particular rosé, is her passion. She works with embassies, corporations and private clients, creating and presenting tastings, events, seminars and in-depth courses. Cynthia is a wine writer, a judge at international wine and sake competitions, she consults with restaurants and enotecas developing comprehensive wine lists and food pairings, and she advises clients who want to curate an Italian wine collection. She currently works for Vinitaly International in Verona as a Project Manager, Educator, and the host of VOICES Series on The Italian Wine Podcast, focusing on diversity and inclusion in the global wine industry.
