Introducing the Long Covid Hope Podcast! (Music-free Trailer)

Introducing the Long Covid Hope podcast, the podcast that tells the more hopeful stories from people with Long Covid and related conditions, by Sarah, the Long Haul Yogi. In Season 1, we are shining the light on the First Wavers and their experiences of getting sick with a novel coronavirus and then simply not recovering. The first wave of Long haulers, of which your host Sarah is one, had a very particular experience of having to fight for any help at all and also fight for Long Covid to be recognised as a condition. The First Wavers led the way with patient advocacy, patient research, patient support groups. We were the unfortunate and unwilling pioneers, and now we are the veterans! And, of course, none of this is new to the ME/CFS and other related chronic condition communities, who have given invaluable support and wisdom to long haulers.

In Season 1, we will be hearing from several people like Sarah, who were very sick for many months and years, but have managed to regain their health. Also, we will be interviewing first wavers who are still on their recovery journey, symptomatic but gaining a place of greater stability, sharing their stories and perspectives. There is a huge variety of people and perspectives, from all over the world and with the full spectrum of long covid symptoms. It’s going to be a bit of a wild ride through the wild west of supplements, alternative medicine, adjunct therapies, functional medicine and much, much more. Subscribe and join us!
