030: Our Souls Have No Color, Part 3: ENGAGE with these Sweet 16 Action Items

Part 3 ENGAGE! Let's gooo.

So this is where the rubber meets the road. Where our faith and our actions work side by side or at least they’re in the same ballpark!

Given that we are examining our hearts often and attempting to become better informed about the issues surrounding racism, are there things we can actually DO?

Yep…and in my journey, I’ve made a Sweet 16 list of can-do action items that I’m hoping to implement in my quest to engage. Remember to snag your PDF where you can follow along and take notes about these practical application items.

Why do we engage? Because LOVE is a VERB! And because others might see our good deeds and glorify the Father!

There are a whole lot of “other-isms” listed it the Bible. Let me give you a few paraphrased:

• We love one another because we were first loved.
• We’re to be kind and tenderhearted and forgiving because we have been forgiven.
• We treat others the way we would like to be treated.
• If we love God, we must certainly love our neighbors.
• We’re to look to the interest of our neighbors.
• We’re also to live peaceably with everyone.
• Everything we do should be done in love.
