Joey stars off with the number one priority and that is retooling the defense. After paying Ilya Lyubushkin and Matt Dumba 7 million dollars combined, the Stars need cheaper and more impactful blue liners next season. Alex Petrovich and Lian Bichsel could fill those roles if they are dumped for cap space while looking for another piece on the market.
