Caring for community nursing

Community nurses and care home workers continue to shoulder the burden of the pandemic, but many who work in the sector feel unseen and under-appreciated. The nursing profession is at risk of being overwhelmed by immense physical and emotional strain as the pandemic continues - so what support do our community colleagues really need? Special guest Dr Crystal Oldman, Chief Executive of the Queen’s Nursing Institute, joins us to explain the “hidden work” that takes place outside hospitals, and how community services are in serious danger of collapse without extra support.
