Achieving the Potential of Insect Rearing

We visited Better Origin to learn more about the Black Soilder Fly and its potential to help agriculture reach net zero. Miha Pipan, Chief Scientific Officer, walks Agri-TechE Director Belinda Clarke through the Better Origins technology.

For supermarkets, food producers, and farmers, Better Origin offer modular insect farms that convert food waste into animal feed and other nutrient-rich products. Their technology helps reduce emissions, mitigate food waste, and replace deforestation-linked soy.

This episode forms part of our Back to the Future project, for Agri-TechE's 10th birthday celebrations.
