Smith, Saad to remain in Vegas according to reports

According to reports, VGK is re-signing Reilly Smith and Brandon Saad. Smith, the original "Misfit" apparently will sign a one-year contract worth $2 million. The contract includes $1 million in salary and another million signing bonus. He had a 40-point season between the Rangers and VGK last season. He had 11 points in 21 games with VGK. Saad signed for $1.5 million with VGK last season. He had 14 points in 29 games with the Golden Knights. There have not been any terms released as of press time. With the recent reported signings we discuss what we can read into the current roster reconstruction. Without any figures on Saad's reported signing, VGK has $7.6 million left in cap space.
