60. Podcasting for Bigger Impact: Where to Focus Your Time

A determined overthinker discovers the irony of spending countless hours perfecting audio files for a fleeting platform, instead of committing to a legacy platform with the potential to reap long-term rewards.

"If you truly want the results, you truly want to be that tsunami impact, you have got to put the time in. Four-hour work week? Yeah, screw you. You don't come out the gate with a four-hour work week. You work your booty off to get that four-hour work week and you're worth it."

After reflecting on my own experiences, I realized that I had been putting in hours and hours of work into the wrong kind of platforms, not taking the time to build a legacy platform like podcasting. Travis's words of wisdom about focusing on long-term goals, and putting in the effort for the future, was a wake-up call for me.

Now I'm working hard to build my podcast and grow my business, and I'm recognizing the value of investing time and energy in the right places. I'm determined to make the most of this opportunity and be seen, heard, and paid for who I am.
