More about today’s guest: Ettore Donadeo is a wine educator originally from Marche, Italy, and has been based in Japan since 2008. He entered the wine industry in 2012 and began his career as a wine educator in 2017 at Caplan Wine Academy in Tokyo. Ettore holds the WSET Level 4 Diploma and is certified to teach WSET courses, Wine Scholar Guild programs (French, Italian, and Spanish Wine Scholar), as well as Barossa Wine School courses. Known for his structured and engaging teaching style, he specializes in translating complex wine regions and styles into clear, practical knowledge for both wine professionals and dedicated enthusiasts. In addition to teaching, Ettore manages academic programs, is involved in wine buying and course development, and regularly collaborates with embassies, wine consortia, and international organizations to support wine education and market development in Japan.
