Lv: Caur logu šķiet, ka ziema ir klāt ar savu auksto elpu.
En: Through the window, it seems that winter has arrived with its cold breath.

Lv: Anete uzvelk cepuri Jānim un Elīnai.
En: Anete puts a hat on Jānis and Elīna.

Lv: Viņa smaida, jo šodien abi bērni dodas uz zinātnes muzeju.
En: She smiles because today both children are going to the science museum.

Lv: Jānim jāvelk zārki, bet Elīna palīdz viņai ar šalli.
En: Jānis has to put on boots, but Elīna helps her with the scarf.
