It is estimated that over 10 million Americans have been diagnosed with osteoporosis. Despite how common this condition is, there isn't typically very clear guidelines about how to exercise with osteoporosis. This is where our guest today comes in! She’s taught courses at locations like Johns Hopkins Rehabilitation Network and oversees a free public education webinar series with UCLA Health as the health sponsor. Rebekah is an industry leader for movement education, bone health, and Pilates for more than 20 years, with a background in dance and sports medicine. She has contributed to several books including the Myths of Menopause and serves on committees including with the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation and the Medical Advisory Committee of the National Menopause Foundation.
