Fi: Harmaa taivas lepäsi Helsinkiä peittävien lumisten katujen yllä.
En: The gray sky lay over the snowy streets of Helsinki.

Fi: Eeron koti oli suuri ja kodikas. Se sijaitsi kaupungin ulkopuolella.
En: Eero's home was large and cozy, situated outside the city.

Fi: Talossa oli valot, jotka heijastuivat lumihankeen.
En: The house had lights that reflected off the snowdrift.

Fi: Ulkona oli kylmä, mutta sisällä perheen naurun ääni lämpösi ilmaa.
