Sl: Mateja si popravi šal, saj je mraz zarezal do kosti.
En: Mateja adjusts her scarf as the cold bites to the bone.

Sl: Sneg prekriva Tivoli Park in drevesa stojijo v zimski tišini, njihove veje gole, a kljub temu očarljive v svoji preprostosti.
En: Snow covers Tivoli Park, and the trees stand in winter silence, their branches bare yet charming in their simplicity.

Sl: Gregor pride iz nasprotne smeri, njegov pogled pa je usmerjen k majhnim športnim copatom, ki se pnejo po blatno-belem igrišču.
En: Gregor approaches from the opposite direction, his gaze fixed on the small sports shoes darting across the muddy-white field.

Sl: "Živjo, Mateja," reče Gregor, ko se ustavi ob njej.
En: "Hi, Mateja," says Gregor as he stops next to her.

Sl: Njegov glas je tih, a prijazen.
En: His voice is quiet but friendly.

Sl: "Živjo, Gregor," odzdravi Mateja, pri tem pa pogleduje k mali Ani, ki z energijo teka za žogo.
En: "Hi, Gregor," Mateja replies, glancing at little Ana, who is energetically chasing the ball.

Sl: Ana je v središču njunega sveta in njune skrbi.
En: Ana is the center of their world and their concerns.

Sl: Medtem ko Ana veselo igra nogomet, starši miselno tavata v preteklost.

Sl: Ni bilo vedno lahko.

Sl: Govorita o Ani, njenih potrebah, o tem, kako želita tudi oba sodelovati pri njeni vzgoji.

Sl: Oba vesta, da morata preteklost pustiti za sabo in se osredotočiti na prihodnost.
