The Exam Room™ is the ultimate plant-based podcast from the Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine (PCRM). We at Clean Food Dirty Girl love PCRM and the work they do, so having the host of their podcast on our podcast was a no-brainer!


Chuck Carroll, also known as The Weight Loss Champion, shares his motivating story about how he lost 265 pounds by embracing a whole-food plant-based lifestyle.


Chuck walks us through his past struggles with fast-food addiction, food withdrawals and cravings, his decision to undergo Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery (RYGB) after friends attempted to plan an intervention, and the power of nutrition.


He emphasizes the importance of understanding and accepting one’s addiction and dives into his personal challenges of maintaining a healthy weight and battling cravings. Chuck also gives insights from his work on The Exam Room™ Podcast, focusing on the importance of nutrition education and awareness in making healthier lifestyle choices.
