🏋️‍♀️ Fern and Charlotte took on a gym class together but Charlotte gets rumbled as a spa intruder, which honestly feels very on brand.

📸 Charlotte has also been busy with a photoshoot and caught up with her uncle afterwards. She’s back in that exciting-but-slightly-daunting headspace of thinking about building a business again. Add in a few drinks out and it’s been a full week.

💇‍♀️ Larissa treated herself to a haircut and met the salon puppy (arguably the highlight). We also ask the important question: are we team hair up or hair down? Opinions are strong.

This Week’s Topic: Our Relationship With Alcohol

Inspired by the fact that Gen Z seem to be turning their backs on alcohol, we reflect on our own drinking histories - the good, the bad, and the slightly embarrassing.

🍷 Fern admits her kids aren’t fans of her drinking, and are very against drinking in general. Fern shares the story of waking up unable to find her clothes, discovering two mysterious pieces of charcoal in the oven, and questioning every life decision that led there.

😬 Larissa reflects that she wishes she’d gone to uni now, when drinking isn’t such a central part of socialising. Back then she often used alcohol to cope with social anxiety.

💤 Charlotte remembers powering through lectures and work on zero sleep - classic student behaviour. She also confesses she can become a bit… mean after a drink. At one point she even slapped a friend in the pub (friendship survived).There are vague memories of ending up back in her room with no recollection of how she got there… and one lingering question: did she wee in the corner?

It's embarrassing stories, social anxieties and the universal agreement: none of us like whiskey.
