Sl: Sonce je sijalo nad smaragdno zelenimi vodami Blejskega jezera.
En: The sun shone over the emerald green waters of Blejsko jezero.

Sl: Bila je pomlad in vse naokrog je cvetelo.
En: It was spring, and everything around was in bloom.

Sl: Otok s cerkvico je bil biser jezera, a tisotletno sliko je izginila.
En: The island with the church was the gem of the lake, but a thousand-year-old painting had disappeared.

Sl: Jure je v skrbeh hodil po obali, zavit v misli o starodavni umetnosti Slovenije.
