El: Ο ήλιος έλαμπε στον ουρανό πάνω από την Αθήνα.
En: The sun was shining in the sky over Athina.

El: Ήταν Πάσχα και τα αρώματα των λουλουδιών γέμιζαν τον αέρα στον κήπο του παλιού σπίτιου.
En: It was Easter, and the scents of flowers filled the air in the garden of the old house.

El: Η Ειρήνη και ο Δαμιανός στεκόντουσαν στην είσοδο του κήπου.
En: Eirini and Damianos stood at the entrance of the garden.

El: Ήταν η τελευταία τους επίσκεψη πριν πουληθεί το σπίτι.
En: It was their last visit before the house was sold.

El: Η Ειρήνη κοίταξε γύρω της.
En: Eirini looked around her.

El: Τα τριαντάφυλλα άνθιζαν με χρώματα που της θύμιζαν τα παιδικά της χρόνια.
En: The roses were blooming with colors that reminded her of her childhood.

El: "Θυμάσαι τις Πασχαλινές αυγά που κρύβαμε εδώ;
En: "Do you remember the Easter eggs we used to hide here?"

En: The house will be sold soon."

El: " Η φωνή του ήταν σταθερή, αλλά μέσα του ένιωθε έναν μικρό πόνο.
En: His voice was steady, but deep inside he felt a small pain.

El: Η Ειρήνη περπάτησε προς τον θάμνο με τα τριαντάφυλλα της μητέρας τους.
En: Eirini walked toward the bush with their mother's roses.

El: "Θέλω να πάρω ένα κομμάτι από αυτό τον θάμνο," είπε με αποφασιστικότητα.
En: "I want to take a piece of this bush," she said with determination.

El: "Έτσι, θα έχω ένα κομμάτι της μαμάς μαζί μου.
En: "That way, I'll have a piece of mom with me."

El: "Ο Δαμιανός κοίταξε τη σοβαρότητά της.
En: Damianos looked at her seriousness.

El: "Δεν έχουμε χρόνο για αυτό.
En: "We don't have time for that.

El: Πρέπει να τελειώσουμε με την πώληση," είπε, αλλά ο τόνος του ήταν λιγότερο αυστηρός απ’ ό,τι περίμενε.
En: We need to finish the sale," he said, but his tone was less strict than he expected.

En: His sister continued to gaze at the bush.

El: "Καταλαβαίνω," απάντησε ο Δαμιανός μετά από λίγο σιωπής.
En: "I understand," Damianos replied after a moment of silence.

El: "Αλλά ίσως μπορούμε να κάνουμε κάτι διαφορετικό.
En: "But maybe we can do something different.

El: Τι λες να φυτέψουμε ένα νέο θάμνο με τριαντάφυλλα στον δικό σου κήπο;
En: How about we plant a new rose bush in your garden?

El: Ένα νέο ξεκίνημα που θα μας ενώνει πάντα.
En: A new beginning that will always unite us."

El: "Η πρόταση του Δαμιανού έφερε ένα χαμόγελο στα χείλη της Ειρήνης.
En: Damianos's suggestion brought a smile to Eirini's lips.

El: Κούνησε το κεφάλι της καταφατικά.
En: She nodded affirmatively.

El: "Ναι, θα ήθελα αυτό.
En: "Yes, I would like that."

El: "Ο Δαμιανός έβαλε το χέρι του στον ώμο της αδερφής του.
