26: Enjoying Exercise in every phase with Cherie Stoddard, My mom!

While training for a sprint triathlon, which she decided to do for the first time in her 50s, My mom had a disastrous embarrassing moment. She's brilliant at telling the story and the lessons she teaches us about happiness and enjoying health and fitness are priceless! Thanks Mom for being my guest... and happy birthday! (This episode airs the week of her birthday, so if you see her, give her a birthday wish!)


I love my Mama! Cherie Stoddard is an amazing person who has taught me SO much in life, but the thing about her that sticks out to me the most (and to many other people who know her) is that she's HAPPY. She finds the joy and good in everything and then... she shares it with others! Today, she shares with us how she has found an enjoyable way to love exercise in every phase of her life. You don't have to love what she loves, but I encourage you to take her advice so that health and fitness can be a great part of your days and something that wakes you up in a good mood with excitement and happiness. Her 3 healthy habits for us are:

1- Change up your exercise and do things you LOVE that make you happy.

2- Drinks loads of water.

3- Eat Chocolate!

BONUS HABIT - Optimism. Look for the good in yourself, in randomness, in life, in others, and you'll always find it.
