Ro: Într-un colț cald și primitor al unei cafenele tradiționale din orașul vechi Sibiu, Andrei stătea agitat.
En: In a warm and inviting corner of a traditional café in the old town of Sibiu, Andrei sat anxiously.

Ro: Mirosul intens de cafea proaspăt preparată umplea aerul.
En: The intense smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air.

Ro: Mobila din lemn rustic și vocile animante creau o atmosferă plăcută.
En: Rustic wooden furniture and lively voices created a pleasant atmosphere.

Ro: Elena, prietena sa, îl privea cu îngrijorare.
En: Elena, his friend, looked at him with concern.

Ro: "Ce ai, Andrei?" l-a întrebat ea blând.
En: "What's wrong, Andrei?" she asked gently.

Ro: Andrei oftă.
En: Andrei sighed.

Ro: "Colierul bunicii mele a dispărut," a spus el, privindu-o pe Elena.

En: "I had it when I came in here. But then... it disappeared."

Ro: Cafeneaua era plină de oameni.
En: The café was full of people.

Ro: Vocea colegilor care povesteau veseli părea să facă și mai dificilă căutarea unui răspuns.
En: The cheerful voices of the patrons seemed to make finding an answer even more difficult.

Ro: Pereții cafenelei purtau povești din timpuri vechi, dar acum păreau surzi la problema lui Andrei.
En: The café's walls bore stories from ancient times, but now they seemed deaf to Andrei's problem.

En: "I'll ask around," Ion proposed, standing up.

En: No one seemed to know.

Ro: Într-o clipă de tăcere, Andrei a văzut pe cineva de la o masă din colț.
En: In a moment of silence, Andrei saw someone at a table in the corner.

Ro: Degetele unei femei alunecau colierul în geanta ei.
En: The fingers of a woman were sliding the necklace into her bag.

Ro: Ochii i s-au mărit.
En: His eyes widened.

Ro: Era prietena lor, Anca.

Ro: "Anca, colierul!" a exclamat el.
En: "Anca, the necklace!" he exclaimed.

Ro: Anca a zâmbit în timp ce și-a scos colierul din geantă.
En: Anca smiled as she took the necklace out of her bag.

Ro: "L-am găsit afară, lângă ușă," a explicat ea.
En: "I found it outside, near the door," she explained.

Ro: "Am vrut să-ți dau când te vedeam."
En: "I was going to give it to you when I saw you."

Ro: Ușurat, Andrei și-a luat colierul.
En: Relieved, Andrei took his necklace.

Ro: "Mulțumesc, Anca. Îmi pare rău că am fost grăbit."
En: "Thank you, Anca. I'm sorry I was hasty."

Ro: Elena și Ion au zâmbit.
En: Elena and Ion smiled.

Ro: Totul era bine.
En: Everything was fine.

Ro: Andrei a simțit un val de recunoștință pentru prietenii care l-au ajutat.
