Bg: Домът на Николай беше в дъното на малко село в Родопите.
En: @n{Nikolai}'s home was at the far end of a small village in the Rhodope Mountains.

Bg: Това беше един от онези места, където времето като че ли бе спряло.
En: It was one of those places where time seemed to stand still.

Bg: Каменните къщи и цветните градини правеха селото красиво.
En: The stone houses and colorful gardens made the village beautiful.

Bg: Всяко лято тук се провеждаше фестивалът на кукерите.
En: Every summer, the festival of the kukeri was held here.

Bg: Със своите костюми от кожи и причудливи маски, танцьорите гонеха злите духове и придаваха особена магия на събитието.
