Ro: Într-o zi toridă de vară, în biroul corporației din centrul orașului, Andrei, un analist junior, își ștergea fruntea transpirată în timp ce privea pe fereastra largă.
En: On a scorching summer day, in the office of the corporation in the city center, Andrei, a junior analyst, wiped his sweaty forehead as he looked out the wide window.

Ro: Străzile erau aglomerate, oameni grăbiți alergau prin soarele arzător.
En: The streets were crowded, hurried people were running under the blazing sun.

Ro: Nemulțumirea lui Andrei, însă, nu avea nicio legătură cu căldura de afară.
