Dreams of the Old Farmhouse | Real Ghost Stories

After her family was forced to sell the farmhouse that had belonged to them for generations, she never really stopped dreaming about it.

For years, those dreams were harmless. Then, during one particularly difficult period of her life, they suddenly became dark and relentless.

An ancestor she had never met began appearing inside the house, demanding to know why it had been allowed to leave the family. Eventually, though, his message changed. Night after night, he led her toward the basement and repeated the same strange instruction: she needed to go back to the start.

At first, she assumed he meant the old farmhouse. But as the dreams continued, she began to wonder whether the house—and especially its foundation—represented something entirely different.
