Story Transcript:

Cy: Gareth oedd yn eistedd wrth ei ddesg yn edrych mor beryclaf i ffrwydro.
En: Gareth was sitting at his desk looking as if he might explode at any moment.

Cy: Yn yr swyddfa fawr, agored, roedd siom yn llenwi'r awyr.
En: In the large, open office, disappointment filled the air.

Cy: Roedd y tabl glas a chrocodorange's system, yn taflu goleuni prydferth dros bob cornel, ond Gareth dim ond y ffeil a gollwyd oedd yn ei feddwl.
En: The blue table and crocodorange's system cast beautiful light over every corner, but all Gareth could think about was the lost file.

Cy: Roedd y gyflwyniad fawr i’r cleient yn y prynhawn.
En: The big presentation for the client was that afternoon.

Cy: Heb y ffeil, ni fyddai’n dangos ei angenisiaid.
En: Without the file, he wouldn't be able to show what was needed.

Cy: Cyn bo hir, galwodd Bronwen ef i un ochr.
En: Before long, Bronwen called him aside.

Cy: "Beth sydd yn bod, Gareth?
En: "What's wrong, Gareth?"

Cy: " mwmiodd hi, fel dechreuodd synnau'r mellt a’r glaw y tu allan yn cysgu wrth y ffenestri.
En: she murmured, as the sounds of thunder and rain started lulling against the windows outside.

Cy: "Mae e wedi mynd," meddai Gareth, eu hwyneb yn tynhau o bryder.
En: "It's gone," Gareth said, his face tightening with worry.

Cy: "Wedi’i golli – y ffeil!
En: "Lost—the file!"

Cy: " "Dywedi ddim?
En: "You're kidding?

Cy: Pa ffeil?
En: Which file?"

Cy: " holai Bronwen, gan syllu ar y calendr hydrefoliadau ar y wal.
En: asked Bronwen, staring at the autumn-themed calendar on the wall.

Cy: "Ffeil y cleient," atebodd Gareth yn diffoddol.
En: "The client file," replied Gareth forlornly.

Cy: "Rhaid i mi ei gael yn ôl cyn y cyflwyniad.
En: "I have to get it back before the presentation."

Cy: "Heb os nac oni bai, dechreuoedd Bronwen chwilio.
En: Without a doubt, Bronwen began searching.

Cy: Penderfynodd Gareth gofio’i camau.
En: Gareth decided to retrace his steps.

Cy: Lle roedd wedi gadael y ffeil ddiwethaf?
En: Where had he left the file last?

Cy: Yn y swyddfa, roedd y cafn dillad a drawsnewidiwyd yn ryfedd yn hafan frenesi lle disgynnai papurau i’r llawr.
En: In the office, the clothing crate was strangely transformed into a frantic haven where papers cascaded to the floor.

Cy: Edrychodd Gareth drwy'r holl ffeiliau, ystafelloedd cyfarfod llawn cofnodion oedd fel darllen cylchlythyr colofn laith.
En: Gareth looked through all the files, meeting rooms full of minutes that felt like reading a damp column newsletter.

Cy: "O druan," meddai Bronwen yn sydyn.
En: "Oh dear," Bronwen suddenly said.

Cy: "Ai- o ni rhaid siarad ag Aneira?
En: "Must we talk to Aneira?"

Cy: "Roedd Gareth yn betrusgar.
En: Gareth hesitated.

Cy: Roedd Aneira yn rheolwraig glyfar a beiddiaf, ond oddim ond cymaint o lawer yn deimlad.
En: Aneira was a smart and daring manager, but only so much could be felt from such a distance.

Cy: Ond, o fewn eiliad, wnaeth Gareth penderfynu byddai'r amser yn rheoli anarferol.
En: Yet, within moments, Gareth decided it was time to act unusually.

Cy: Pan gyferbynodd Aneira nesaf, roedd Gareth eisoes wedi hen fynd drwy bob manylyn ei gof.
En: When he next confronted Aneira, Gareth had already thoroughly gone through every detail of his memory.

Cy: Yn sydyn, gweldodd papur yn datod o dan ei desg.
En: Suddenly, he saw a paper peeking out from under his desk.

Cy: Dyna'r cliw.
En: That was the clue.

Cy: Clad rhyw ffigwr gwag yn edrych i fyny, galwodd Gareth: "Aneira!
En: Filled with empty figures looking up, Gareth called: "Aneira!"

Cy: "Gorffennodd Gareth y cyflwyniad.
En: Gareth finished the presentation.

Cy: Cafodd y peth ond ychydig funudau yn ddiweddarach.
En: It took only a few minutes longer than expected.

Cy: Yn yr ystafell gyfarfod, roedd ymweliadau’r gwroniaid ar ffurf mewnlifoedd arddangos uchelfrync ac yn llifio.
En: In the meeting room, accolades from the heroic appearances on high display flowed abundantly.

Cy: Pan godwyd troed i gefnogi ei araith, cafodd Gareth glod gan ei gleientiaid.
En: When a foot rose to support his speech, Gareth received praise from his clients.

Cy: Dychwelodd Gareth i’w ddesg, iarll y bobloedd heddiw.
En: Gareth returned to his desk, the hero of the people today.

Cy: Roedd y ffeil a oedd wedi bod yn aros iddo, ond dysgodd gan ei edmyg byd fory.
En: The file had been waiting for him, but he had learned from his admiration that tomorrow is a new day.

Cy: Roedd yn deall nawr, nid unigoldeb yw popeth, ond gwerth cymorth gyda gilydd.
En: He understood now, it's not all about individuality but the value of mutual support.

Cy: Roedd Gareth yn sai wrth Bronewen yn diolch iddi.
En: Gareth stood by Bronwen, thanking her.

Cy: “Diolch, Bronwen.
En: "Thank you, Bronwen.

Cy: Hebddost ti, …" ond symudiad papur oedd ymateb cymesuredd, ac ymlaciodd Gareth.
En: Without you, ..." but the movement of paper was the symmetry response, and Gareth relaxed.

Cy: Roedd yn gwybod, roedd heddiw yn y bonc.
En: He knew today was in the bag.

Cy: O fewn y swyddfa, glanheir y cerbydion dirwya sawn y bore ac erbyn ei ddifié concriw oedd Gareth, y dydd yw dydd newydd – peidiwch ag anghofio am garedigrwydd eraill.
En: Within the office, the vehicles cleaned away the morning's burdens and Gareth, the day is a new day—don't forget the kindness of others.

Cy: Roedd popeth grŵfi.
En: Everything was groovy.
