Sl: Blejski zvonovi so peli, ko sta Gregor in Lana hodila po ozki poti ob Blejskem jezeru.
En: The bells of Bled were ringing as Gregor and Lana walked along the narrow path by Lake Bled.

Sl: V zraku je bilo čutiti zadnje sapice poletja, a meglice nad vodo so napovedovale dež.
En: The air held the last breezes of summer, but the mist over the water hinted at rain.

Sl: "Danes je pravi dan," je rekel Gregor, ko sta prišla do majhnega čolnišča.
En: "Today is the right day," said Gregor when they reached the small boat dock.

Sl: "Morda zadnja priložnost za veslanje to leto.
En: "Perhaps the last chance for rowing this year."

En: They put the boat on the water and began rowing towards the island.

En: Lana tried to focus the conversation on happy memories.

Sl: "Mami in oče sta tukaj preživela medene tedne.
En: "Mom and Dad spent their honeymoon here.

Sl: Ne moremo prodati družinske zgodovine.
En: We can't sell our family history."

Sl: "A Gregor je bil vztrajen.
En: But Gregor was persistent.

En: "We have to think about the future first, Lana."

En: As they rowed to the middle of the lake, a dark storm suddenly gathered.

En: The sky closed in, and the wind grew stronger.

En: Gregor and Lana rowed in fear towards the nearby shore.

Sl: Našli so zavetje pod staro drevo.
En: They found shelter under an old tree.

Sl: Lana se je tresla od mraza, oči so ji bile polne solz.
En: Lana was shivering from the cold, her eyes full of tears.

Sl: "Kaj bo z najinimi spomini, Gregor?
En: "What will happen to our memories, Gregor?"

Sl: "Gregor jo je objel.
En: He hugged her.

Sl: "Mogoče obstaja druga rešitev.
En: "Maybe there's another solution.

Sl: Kaj pa če kočo začneva oddajati?
En: What if we start renting out the cottage?"

Sl: "Lanin obraz se je razsvetlil.
En: Lana’s face brightened.

Sl: "Oddajanje bi lahko omogočilo ohraniti spomine in hkrati pomagalo finančno.
En: "Renting could allow us to keep the memories and at the same time help financially."

Sl: "Nevihta se je umirila, obzorje je bilo znova jasno.
En: The storm calmed, and the horizon was clear again.

Sl: Odločitev je bila sprejeta.
En: The decision was made.

Sl: Kočo bosta ohranila kot družinski projekt.
En: They would keep the cottage as a family project.

Sl: Gregor je pridobil novo spoštovanje do dediščine, Lana pa je postala bolj odprta za praktične rešitve.
En: Gregor gained new respect for heritage, and Lana became more open to practical solutions.

Sl: Veter je še vedno nežno pihal po jezeru, ko sta se Gregor in Lana vrnila domov, tokrat z novimi načrti.
