The Everyday Sniper Episode 237 Finding Balance
The Everday Sniper Podcast Episode 237 Finding Balance in your Rifle System So I have a GAP / Manners PRS TCS Rifle chambered in 6GT here and it's pretty amazing to see where a competition rifle has gone. This is a 20LBS 6GT that just hammers and does not move. My first GAP Team Rifle from George came in at 10.7LBS with an S&B 5-25x, this one is 20LBS. The rifles just sit in the bags and on the tripod and don't move. Part of the accuracy equation in this system is the super light trigger. It takes some getting used to, but you can have proper trigger control with an evil light trigger, but you have to be vigilant. My question is, how do we balance a field or tactical rifle to take advantage of the innovations in a PRS rifle? What is the right trigger weight to rifle weight equation? It's something that hit me after shooting the rifles. Youtube Link Sniper's Hide Forum Thanks for listening, Thanks for sharing, and don't forget to comment.

The Everyday Sniper Episode 236 Josh Kunz Patriot Valley Arms
The Everyday Sniper Episode 236 Josh Kunz Patriot Valley Arms In this episode, I interview Josh Kunz of Patriot Valley Arms. We have a nicely focused discussion on bullets and barrel technology. Mainly talking solid bullets as Josh has worked on several solids including the Warner Tool Flatlines, We go over the gains Josh is making to bring solids to every rifle instead of having to focus on the barrel technology paired with a solid. Solids are the future of precision rifle shooting, so discussing this technology is important to see where it started to where it is going. From here, the next part of the conversation transitions to barrels. Josh does great barrel work and has turned me on to the Paradigm Carbon Fiber barrels. So we have a nice discussion on those. Thanks to Josh for taking the time to talk. Thanks to all for listening, thanks for sharing and thanks for being a part of the Everyday Sniper Podcast

The Everyday Sniper Episode 235 Match Tips, FB Rants, War Machine Leather
The Everyday Sniper Episode 235 Match Tips, FB Rants, War Machine Leather Very interesting episode here, I have to admit, I am a bit wound up. So I start out complaining about my Bose headphones and then drive right into a FB exchange regarding Mils and MOA. That was pretty comical, but we knew a Mil vs MOA discussion on Facebook would be a joke anyway. There are a bunch of nuggets hidden in the episode. The careful listener will find them if choose to listen carefully. I actually like the part about the Match Directors thinking outside the box and creating 2 signature stages for their events that really push the shooters. In my mind, every competition should have a signature stage or two that highlights what the Match Director brings to the table. It's what made the Sniper's Hide events so popular. I want to thank Seth from War Machine Leather Works for the iPhone Holsters. Awesome products for EDC. #snipershide #practicalmarksman #STAhungy #precisionrifletraining Thanks for listening, thanks for sharing, thanks for commenting, even if it's just Free Comment Stay tuned for the 6GT Manners Stock and GAP Rifle combination, hitting the range soon.
