More about this winery: MONTECAPPONE is an agricultural company founded in Jesi in the 1960s. Since 1997 the company has belonged to the Bomprezzo-Mirizzi family, already owner of the homonymous Enoteca in Via Tuscolana in Rome. The company today has a vineyard area of about 50 hectares with vineyards, located in different areas, from the point of view of the nature of the soils and the microclimate that pour into the composition of the grapes that give rise to wines with a strong personality. Born in Mexico, with a mother from Hawaii via Korea and an anthropologist father from New York via Paris, he was weaned on exotic and delicious foods. Marc and his photographer wife Kim are the authors of 14 books including a pioneering series of illustrated wine-food-travel books: The Wine Roads of Europe, The Wine Roads of France, The Wine Roads of Italy (Premio Barbi Colombini), and The Wine Roads of Spain.
