Episode 115 – What Drives Our Choices

In our Check in this week Edward talks about his experience with the Yard Sale. The only issue is he hasn’t gotten rid of the items that didn’t sell. Jason and Edward talk through, not only his experience with the Yard Sale itself, but the sticking points that is keeping Edward holding on to the leftover items. Edward and Jason reference a previous episode when they took a Deep Dive into hoarding, which Edward has stated that he will be listening too again. Finding the balance and the mindset needed to get rid of things that no longer serve a purpose in his life is Edward’s theme for the day.

Inspiration for our Deep Dives can come from anywhere. Jason starts us off this week with a synopsis of a show he really enjoys. In the show a question arises which gives us todays topic. What drives the choices we make? Jason and Edward discuss real life situations where their choices were made either from a place of free will, a particular belief, or through the experience of trauma. Jason and Edward also discuss not only what drives our choices but the accountability in those choices and where they come from.
