171: Embracing Solo Adventures: How I Started Doing Things Alone, Including Traveling

If you’ve been following me (especially on social) for a good amount of time now, you probably already know that I’m an adventurous person. I love to hike, ski, travel, and try and new and exciting things, but I always did this stuff with other people.

A couple of years ago I felt a strong desire to do more things on my own, and although it's been hard and uncomfy, I've learned a lot along the way and have gained a lot in the process.

In this episode, I'm sharing with you how I started doing things alone and how it's changed so much for me. I dive into:

  • 5 things that have helped me do more alone (and with less anxiety)
  • gaining confidence and self-trust
  • what may hold you back
  • some suggestions for starting out
