Meet Today’s Experts

Dr. Rocio Salas-Whalen is a distinguished, triple board-certified physician specializing in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, with a focus on women's health and obesity medicine. As the founder of New York Endocrinology on Manhattan's Upper East Side, she provides personalized, patient-centered care for a range of endocrine disorders. Dr. Rocio-Whalen earned her medical degree in Mexico, completed her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and pursued advanced training at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins. A pioneer in GLP-1 receptor agonists for weight management, she also champions menopause care, advocating for a "menopause redo" to help women navigate midlife with strength and modern science.

Dr. Disha Narang is a quadruple board-certified endocrinologist specializing in endocrinology, diabetes, metabolism, obesity, and culinary medicine. She is the Director of Obesity Medicine at Endeavor Health in Chicago. Dr. Narang earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University in 2011 and completed her residency & fellowship at the University of Chicago. She emphasizes "food is medicine" and actively promotes nutrition education. She practices at Endeavor Health Medical Group in Skokie and is affiliated with Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital.
