Episode 005 | Half Marathons and High Thoughts

In this week’s episode, Sam and Alex kick things off by addressing the change in their backdrop. Alex still hasn’t called a doctor for his long list of ailments, while Sam talks about preparing for her upcoming half marathon and wonders what happens if she’s still running when the time limit expires. They both dive into their chaotic sleep schedules and engage in another discussion about deer, including Sam’s fear of them and Alex’s late-night encounter with one.

Alex shares a story about meeting an OnlyFans model at a gay bathhouse, and Sam tries to convince him to use OnlyFans to build a fanbase for his stand-up comedy. The two then explore their favorite genres of TikTok videos and speculate on which social media platforms fictional pop-culture characters would thrive on.

Alex reflects on a “high thought” he had after taking his first edible in months. Sam, believing in Alex's strength, suggests he could beat a chimpanzee in a fight, though Alex disagrees. Alex also dismisses Sam’s confidence that she could take on an orangutan. They wrap up the episode by solving the problem of poachers and confessing to animals they’ve unintentionally killed—though Sam refuses to share her own confession.
