Episode 014 | Clogged Toilets, Flowing Minds

In this episode of Good Morning, We’re Dying, Sam and Alex tackle the chaos of migraines, dietary struggles, and the eternal battle against unruly toilets. Sam shares her week of discomfort, including a sleepless TikTok spiral, a switch to mushroom coffee, and a very awkward clogged toilet story she relays to her partner, Santiago. Meanwhile, Alex opens up about his doctor-imposed sugar-and-caffeine-free diet, which might be contributing to his own woes. Alex chimes in with his own toilet troubles, including a pants-pooping tale from his childhood that might leave you questioning bathroom etiquette forever.

As they navigate the challenges of adulthood, Alex and Sam take a trip down memory lane, revisiting their school years. Alex recalls the highs and lows of high school basketball, complete with an unexpected encounter with his old coach at a lunchtime orgy (well AFTER high school). Meanwhile, Sam reflects on terrible teachers, nostalgic moments, and her take on revisiting high schools post-graduation. Together, they trade stories of substitute teaching, the complete lack of respect they encountered, and the most absurd things they’ve seen in a classroom.
