He has contributed to leading publications such as Porthos, Slow Wine Magazine, Spirito diVino, and Fine Wine Magazine, and co-hosted the radio segment I Vini Ascoltati on Radio Vicenza. He is the author or co-author of several books, including Il Piacere della Grappa, Il Grande Viaggio nel Vino Italiano, and Le Migliori 100 Bollicine d’Italia. He has also translated and contributed to key texts on biodynamic and natural wine. As an educator, Gianpaolo teaches at the University of Gastronomic Sciences (UNISG) in Pollenzo and Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, and leads seminars globally through the Slow Wine World Tour. He has served as a judge for major wine competitions and as a longtime contributor to the Slow Wine and Vini Buoni d’Italia guides.
