Decoding The U. S. Cyber Trust Mark - Cybersecurity for Consumer IoT Devices

The U.S. Cyber Trust Mark is a voluntary FCC program designed to improve the cybersecurity of consumer Internet of Things (IoT) devices. This initiative will label IoT products meeting specific security standards with a logo and QR code linking to detailed security information, thus educating consumers and encouraging manufacturers to prioritize security.

The program involves collaboration between the FCC, manufacturers, and third-party administrators, with testing conducted in accredited CyberLABs. The goal is to increase consumer trust and reduce the risk of cyberattacks from insecure IoT devices.
