Use safe methods to seek help (e.g. in private, cleared browser history, safe devices).

When contacting a hotline or resource, ask for help with a safety plan, legal options, shelter referrals, confidentiality, and emotional support.

Many hotlines offer help in multiple languages or via interpreters. The U.S. National Hotline provides services in over 200 languages.

Be mindful of digital safety (e.g. avoid abusive partner seeing your phone/browser history).
