In today’s episode we are speaking to Greg Downham. Greg has been part of the Primal Fitness Obstacle Dominator community for around five months, and this conversation captures the beginning of his transformation.

When Greg first joined he was in a challenging season of life, but through conversation, commitment, and fully immersing himself in the work — he has come out the other side bigger, better, and stronger. These first few months have been pivotal for him physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

This year alone he:

  • Entered and completed his first ever OCR season

  • Competed in multiple UK Spartan events

  • Travelled to West Virginia to race the Trifecta World Championships alongside myself and Coach Mitch

  • Built strong community connections with both UK and overseas athletes

  • Transformed his body and mindset

  • Is now preparing to launch his own business in November

Greg is only at the beginning. The off-season ahead is going to be critical for his athletic development — and 2026 is set to be a huge year for him both in OCR and in life.

This is the story of a man who decided to change direction — and actually did it. Enjoy.
