A new episode of The DFO Rundown is here! Frank and Jason started the show off by talking about Evander Kane officially joining the Edmonton Oilers. Tyler Yaremchuk also stopped by for a new edition of Fill in the Blank, delivered by Door Dash! They also welcomed in Hockey Hall of Famer Adam Oates. He had a tremendous playing career that spanned 19 years and saw him play with seven different NHL teams. He talked to us about his time as a player, a Head Coach, and now as a skills coach. He works with a lot of the best players in the NHL and helps them take their games to the next level. He gave us some insight into how he helps players improve on things like board battles, faceoffs, and breakouts. Start your week off with a brand new episode of The DFO Rundown with Jason Gregor and Frank Seravalli. To start things off, the two talked about the racist incident that occurred in the ECHL on Saturday night involving Jacob Panetta and Jordan Subban. From there, they hit on the NHL's iron man streak, which Keith Yandle could break tonight with game 965. It's currently held by Doug Jarvis and Frank interviewed him for a story on Daily Faceoff earlier this week. Also, what's the latest on the Flyers (will they move Claude Giroux?) and a new edition of Buy or Sell with Tyler Yaremchuk. After that, Gregor had a chance to chat with Team USA Women's Hockey Head Coach Joel Johnson. They talked about the rivalry with Team Canada, what their roster looks like heading into the Beijing Games, and the Olympic experience. Joel has a unique coaching history himself. He's not just a hockey coach and has led golf and soccer teams at the collegiate level. He talked about how he adapts, what lessons he carries over, and his coaching philosophies. Hosted on Acast. On today's episode of the pod, Frank shared that he tested positive for COVID-19 this week and talked about just how hard the virus has hit him. Gregor shared some odd home remedies for how he gets over illness. From there, they got into the hockey talk starting with an update on the Evander Kane situation. Could he be an Oiler soon? The team in Edmonton could certainly use the help and more changes than just a Kane signing could be coming. They also hit on the new schedule and some of the decisions that the NHL made.  They also hit on the Montreal Canadiens and their rough season... will it lead to Shane Wright? A new episode of The DFO Rundown is here. Jason and Frank started off the show by talking about just how odd the lack of a playoff race in the Eastern Conference is. Gregor had some numbers to show how unique the gap is between the haves and the have nots. They also hit on the Evander Kane situation and what kind of suspension he could face. The All-Star Game rosters got announced yesterday as well, so that was a topic of conversation, even if Frank doesn't love it. Tyler Yaremchuk also popped in for a new round of Buy or Sell!
