This week on The Midlifers Podcast, Mez and Fonz kick things off with a hilariously wholesome story about teenage rebellion - involving sneaking out of the house, lighting a candle, and… walking around the block because there was literally nowhere else to go. Then it’s time for Besties: Movie Soundtracks, as we celebrate the films that embedded songs into our DNA. From Romeo + Juliet to Top Gun, Dirty Dancing, Grease, Forrest Gump and beyond, we talk about why soundtracks hit differently when you owned them on CD, cassette or VHS — and why modern movies just don’t burn themselves into memory the same way. Expect passionate opinions, accidental singing, key-change appreciation and plenty of nostalgic side quests.
