Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God

Drawing from Acts 13, Matthew 16, and Psalm 2, this message walks through the testimony of the apostles and the prophets concerning Jesus—His death, resurrection, and exaltation by the Father. Steve explains that Jesus was not merely a good man, a teacher, or a prophet, but the Christ, the Son of the living God, foretold in the Old Testament and revealed in fullness through the resurrection.

This episode highlights a sobering truth: knowing Scripture, studying theology, or participating in religious activity is not enough if the heart does not receive what God has revealed. Many who read the prophets and heard the Word still missed Jesus when He stood before them.

Jesus’ question to His disciples still confronts every believer today:
“Whom do you say that I am?”

Steve reminds listeners that the Church is built on this revelation: that Jesus is the Christ and that every believer who receives this truth by faith shares in the authority and victory Christ has given. Forgiveness of sins, justification, and access to the Kingdom of God are found in Him alone.
