About the Heat in Singapore

Today, I’d like to talk about the heat in Singapore.

Singapore is a hot country.

I have been living in Singapore for about four years.

Even now, when I go outside, I often think, “It’s hot.”

In Singapore, it is hot from the morning.

However, early in the morning, it feels a little cooler.

But only until around before seven o’clock.

If you go outside at that time, you can see people exercising.

But around eight or nine o’clock, the moment I go outside, I think, “Oh, it’s hot.”

At night, things change a little.

At night, there is a breeze, and it feels very nice to walk outside.

I quite like walking at night and feeling the cool breeze.

At first, I was a little surprised that daytime and nighttime were so different.

When I walk outside, I start sweating right away.

Really, the sweat comes out immediately.

Even after walking just a little, my back and face become wet.

When I first came to Singapore, I sweated a lot.

Just going outside in the morning, I was already sweating a lot.

At that time, I was thinking, “Why is it so hot?”

But now, I’ve gotten used to it a little.

Even when I walk the same road,I feel like I don’t sweat as much as before.

Maybe my body has gotten used to this heat.

So, is Singapore always hotter than Japan? Not really.

In summer, around July or August, there are days when Japan is hotter.

It can be very hot, and we sometimes see it on the news.

I don’t really like cold places.

That’s why I love summer.

For me, this heat feels very comfortable to live in.

At first, I thought the heat was tough, but now I think, “This is Singapore.”

This heat feels very Southeast Asian, and very Singaporean to me.
