I am surprised that so many Japanese works come to Singapore.

外国では、漫画よりもアニメの方が人気があると思います。

Outside Japan, I think anime is often more popular than manga.

そのため、漫画の展示より、アニメの展示の方が多い気がします。

So there seem to be more anime exhibitions than manga ones.

漫画でもアニメでも、日本の作品がシンガポールに来てくれるのはとてもうれしいです。

Whether it is manga or anime, I am very happy that Japanese works come to Singapore.

漫画やアニメが好きで、日本語に興味を持つ人も多いです。

Many people become interested in Japanese because they like manga or anime.

In Singapore, there are many people who know more about anime than I do.

For example, Sanrio characters are very popular.

ハローキティは世界中で有名ですね。Hello Kitty is famous all over the world.

いろいろな会社とコラボレーションしています。

They collaborate with many different companies.

ポケモンもとても有名です。

Pokémon is also very famous.

ゲームやカードゲームもとても人気があります。

Both the games and the card game are very popular.

ちいかわが大好きな人も多くて、びっくりします。

I am surprised that many people love Chiikawa.

そして、ガンダムの人気も忘れてはいけません。

And we should not forget the popularity of Gundam.

アニメはもちろんですが、ガンプラも人気です。

Of course the anime is popular, but Gundam plastic models are popular too.

自分の国の作品が外国で人気なのを見ると、

When I see works from my country loved in another country,

とても誇らしい気持ちになります。

I feel very proud.
