Excuses, Excuses + Iconic Red Carpet Fashion I Midlife Nostalgia & Comedy Podcast

We start off this week’s ep with a bit of feedback from our BBQ chat a few weeks back, which then leads to a chat about Chinotto: the ultimate Coke foolery. We also talk about how a business lunch at what was supposed to be a fancy cafe, ended up being at a cafeteria in a golf course. Yep, Fonz and Mez, keeping it real like always.

Our first segment is ‘Confessions.’ We’re talking excuses - what excuses we have given, what are some gold standards to always have up your sleeve, and which ones haven’t worked.

Then we get on to our nostalgic portion of the show, ‘Besties’. Which, this week, is actually more ‘Iconic’, as we’re talking about red carpet fashion moments we cannot forget. Some of them were the best on the night. Some are just unforgettable because they were made out of meat 🥩

Here’s what to expect:

👉Drinks we unwittingly drank as kids (& hated)

👉Cafes inside businesses - they fool us!

👉How kids are the perfect excuse to get out of things

👉Red carpet fashion: J Lo, Bec Judd, Jeanie Little, Demi Moore + more

👉Belly laughs with two middle aged women barely hangin’ on

If you want an escape from the chaos of everyday life, then this half hour show is just what the doctor ordered.

🍵Grab yourself a cuppa, sit back, and enjoy the show…
