As the barriers to entry continue shrinking, the challenge is no longer getting noticed. The challenge is creating something that people will still care about fifteen years from now.

The conversation also dives into one of the biggest obstacles many women in rap continue to face: the influence of male dominated industry structures. From label politics to manufactured rivalries and unnecessary drama, Jer explores why collaboration and collective power could open doors that competition alone never will.
